One of our favorite photo shoots ever!  After returning from a beautiful Fall elopement in the mountains of Vermont, we took Emma out with her horse Biscotti to do some amazing bridal portraits! The Hampton Cove Equestrian Center were so wonderful to work with, they provided us with an amazing backdrop for our Signature Bridal Session. 

Bridal sessions are one of the most important and often overlooked considerations for a bride planning her wedding.  Bridal Sessions offer a bride more time in her gown, and we all know that’s pretty important!  They give her more options for locations and time of day apart from the wedding. Bridal sessions can be before or after the wedding day, and that provides lots of opportunities to both the bride and the groom. If you plan the session around the final fitting, it offers you a chance to experience wearing the gown and experimenting with alternate hair and makeup styles. This also gives you the option to have a framed portrait at your reception and wonderful  artwork for you and your parents to display in your homes. Scheduling the session after the wedding may be our top choice in shooting bridal sessions, because it gives us the most freedom to be creative, unhindered by having to worry about keeping the gown in pristine condition ahead of the wedding. After the wedding is when you want to wade into a lake or take the gown to a horse pasture.  Either way, planning a  bridal session affords the bride the most use of her gown, heightens the celebration of her wedding and provides some of the most stunning artwork!   Learn more about planning a bridal session here!
